I’ve taken my contemporary paintings from canvas to vase with this series of abstract landscape vases. Sculptural yet practical works of art that capture the feeling and memories of the landscapes I paint.

My goal is to transform rooms around the world into colourful and happy places with my art, offering a form of joy, fun and clarity amongst the speed and tension of contemporary life.    All my vases are lovingly sauced from antique shops and vintage stores, so they hold a lot of history and character. This makes them all unique and no two are the same - Some are ceramic some are glass. Before I paint onto the surface of the vases, I prepare them by sanding them back and washing them. I then add a primer to hold my paint.

How To Take Care of Your Vase: This vase can hold fresh or dry flower arrangements or simply be adorned as a stand-alone 3-dimensional sculpture. These vases are hand painted using water resistant paint pigments, including; spray paint, acrylic paint and acrylic marker. Additionally, they have been spray varnished with a satin finish, making them UV and water resistant. However, care must be taken when filling or emptying the vase. Due to the hand painted nature of these vases, they are naturally delicate by nature (as with all art) and are NOT to be cleaned in a dishwasher, submerged, or soaked in water, or scrubbed externally. If your vase gets dirty, a gentle and minimal wipe clean with a damp cloth is recommended to maintain their quality and aesthetic.
